Females, minorities top Obama picks for judges

President Obama hosts a reception for Elena Kagan in the East Room of the White House after the U.S. Senate voted in favor of her being a Supreme Court Associate Justice�in Washington, August 6, 2010. President Barack Obama is moving at a historic pace to try to diversify the nation's federal judiciary: Nearly three of every four people he has gotten confirmed to the federal bench are women or minorities.
